With four months to go until one of the calendar’s most highly anticipated rally events, the organisers of Rallylegend 2025 are already working hard to put together what promises to be another unforgettable event.
The format, schedule and layout for the event, taking place on 2-5 October, have already been finalised, with the Republic of San Marino again serving as the very beautiful, not to mention logistically ideal, stage for an unrivalled rally-oriented show.
Registration for the 23rd Rallylegend will open on Monday 16 June and close on Wednesday 10 September.
The race is open to the Historic, Classic and WRC categories, while the non-competitive Legend Stars category will see its drivers and vehicles putting on a show for the fans.
The full schedule complete with maps and itinerary is already available on www.rallylegend.com, along with details of the various ticketing options, with early bird tickets now on sale.
RALLYING TO TAKE CENTRE STAGE FROM THURSDAY TO SUNDAY
Following a shakedown at 12.00pm on Thursday 2 October, the high-octane Sprint Legend Race will open Rallylegend 2025, getting underway at 8.30pm with a route measuring about three kilometres, this race will give the fastest drivers a time bonus for the real race. The perfect way to begin this four-day event in San Marino, where spectators play a starring role in what promises to be a fantastic show.
The rally itself, the true soul of Rallylegend, as confirmed by the many champions, past and present, who have taken on these special stages, will kick off on Friday 3 October. Running in the evening, old-school style, the stage will begin at 7.30pm. Two special stages, the “Chiesanuova” and the “San Marino” will conclude with the Regroup in the evocative historic centre of San Marino and the “Drivers’ Dinner”.
Stage two will run on Satuday 4 October, at 1.00pm, and will involve five special stages – two laps around both “Piandavello” and “La Casa”, interspersed with a lap of “The Legend”.
Sunday 5 October brings the third and final part of the race, which will get underway at 10.30am. “Le Tane”, with a partially new itinerary, to be repeated twice and “The Legend”, followed by celebrations on the finish stage in Rally Village at around 3.00pm.
CHANGE AFOOT FOR THE ICONIC “THE LEGEND”
Rallylegend 2025 brings a change in terms of the “The Legend” special stage. It will only feature once on Saturday and once on Sunday, but drivers will make four laps instead of three. “A decision that switches up the event but that is made also for logistical and timing reasons. – explain Vito Piarulli and Paolo Valli, event organisers – We want to give ample space to the many exciting collateral activities, with themed parades and exhibition laps by great champions and important cars, events that we hope are appreciated by the huge number of spectators who flock to Rallylegend”.
