Day two continued with dominance in the WRC category by Victor Senra Carreira and Paula Ramos Torrente, with their Hyundai i20 WRC Plus, who managed to further distance themselves from their closest pursuer, Luca Pedersoli, with Anna Tomasi at notes, in a sister car. Czech Stepan Vojtech, with Ernst and the Citroën C3 WRC Plus, maintained his third-place finish.
French champion Simon Jean Joseph, with Pivato as co-driver, extends his lead in the Classic standings, aboard the 1995 Subaru Impreza 555. He was already leading the field (including in the “McRae Subaru Group A Rally Trophy”) when Francoise Delecour, another great French champion, retired due to a broken axle shaft in the Peugeot 306 Maxi. Second place was taken by Gianpietro Bendotti, with Vaerini, also in a 1996 Impreza 555, while third place went to Hungarians Miklos Kazar and Tamas Begala in a 2005 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX.
All San Marino drivers, a true record, dominated the “Historic” standings with Stefano Rosati and Costa (1981 Talbot Lotus) increasingly leading the pack. The second-place crew has changed, now including Nemo Mazza and Andrea Ercolani Volta in a 1979 Ford Escort MK II, while third place goes to Mirko and Elisa Zanotti in a 1984 Opel Manta GTE.
THE HIGHEST AUTHORITIES OF THE REPUBLIC OF SAN MARINO VISITED RALLYLEGEND
As is now well-established tradition, a delegation of the highest authorities of San Marino, led by the two Captains Regent Lorenzo Bugli and Matteo Rossi and the two Secretaries of State Alessandro Bevitori and Rossano Fabbri, visited the Rallylegend Rally Village, accompanied by Paolo Valli, one of the two organizers of the event, meeting some of the guests, including Antonello Coletta, Ferrari Global Head of Endurance and Corse Clienti. A special stop was made at the Race Direction Control Room, which has been technologically enhanced and staffed with highly experienced personnel, supported by the Gendarmerie, Civil Police, and Civil Protection to ensure a significant leap forward in event safety.
“SPEED LEGEND TROPHY” WITH MERZARIO, FAGGIOLI, NANDO PARRADO, AND ANTONELLO COLETTA
Arturo Merzario has a long list of titles and victories in Formula 1, the World Championship for Makes, and major road races like the Targa Florio, enough to fill a motorsport encyclopedia; Simone Faggioli is record holder of European and Italian championships with 26 titles won with Prototypes in the challenging and fascinating hill climbs, and this year’s dominator of the iconic Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in the United States with the Nova Proto NP01; and Nando Parrado, a talented driver known worldwide for the “miracle of the Andes.”
Guest of honor, Antonello Coletta, Ferrari Global Head of Endurance and Corse Clienti, the manager who brought the Cavallino back to the peak of spectacular endurance racing, has confirmed his presence at the Rally Village on Saturday.
This is the parterre de roi of the “Speed Legend Trophy“: stories shared by hundreds of spectators, with trophies awarded to these great personalities presented by the splendid Elenoire Casalegno.

The final day of Rallylegend’s sporting action will be held with Day 3 of the race. Two runs on the “Le Tane” special stage, interspersed with “The Legend,” which will also host parades, hot laps, and various performances.
The arrival at the RallyVillage, with the award ceremony, will be the spectacular closure of this 23rd edition of Rallylegend.
